Our Mission

Quantify.biz was built on a simple premise: the same quality of financial data that professional analysts access every day should be available to anyone, instantly and for free. Whether you're a seasoned investor or just starting to research your first stock, you deserve a clear, honest picture of what you're looking at — without needing a Bloomberg terminal or a finance degree.

We aggregate real-time price data, analyst consensus, earnings history, and fundamental metrics into a single, readable snapshot. Our proprietary Q·Score distils five key financial dimensions into a single 0–10 rating, giving you an at-a-glance signal to anchor your own research.

What We Are (and What We Are Not)

Quantify.biz is a financial data and analysis tool. We organise and present publicly available financial information in a way that is easier to understand. We are not a brokerage, an investment adviser, or a financial planning service.

Nothing on this site constitutes investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or a solicitation to invest. The Q·Score, analyst consensus summaries, price targets, and all other data shown are for informational and educational purposes only. Past performance is never a guarantee of future results. Always conduct your own due diligence and consult a qualified, regulated financial adviser before making any investment decision.

Our Data Sources

All market data displayed on Quantify.biz is sourced from Yahoo Finance via their public API. This includes:

  • Real-time and delayed price data — last traded price, intraday movement, 52-week range
  • Analyst consensus — aggregated buy/hold/sell recommendations and price targets from Wall Street analysts
  • Fundamental metrics — trailing and forward P/E, EV/EBITDA, profit margins, revenue growth, return on equity, dividend yield, and more
  • Earnings history — quarterly EPS actual vs. estimate, with beat/miss indicators
  • Company profiles — sector, industry, description, employee count, and headquarters

We supplement company descriptions with data from Wikipedia where available, to provide broader context about a company's history and business model.

Data is fetched live on each page load and is not stored in a persistent database on our end. This means you always see the most recent available data — but it also means that any errors or gaps in Yahoo Finance's data may occasionally be reflected on our pages.

The Q·Score — Our Proprietary Rating

The Q·Score is Quantify.biz's in-house stock rating, calculated entirely from publicly available financial data. It is not a buy or sell recommendation — it is a structured way to compare a stock's fundamentals across five dimensions: Quality, Value, Growth, Safety, and Momentum.

Each dimension is scored 0–10 based on sector-normalised thresholds, then combined into a final weighted score. A higher Q·Score indicates stronger fundamentals relative to peers — it does not predict future price movements.

Accuracy and Limitations

We make every effort to display accurate, up-to-date information. However, financial data can contain errors, delays, or gaps — particularly for smaller companies, foreign-listed stocks, or during periods of high market volatility. Quantify.biz makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data shown.

Users should independently verify any data before relying on it for investment decisions.

Privacy and No Ads

Quantify.biz does not require registration, does not sell user data, and does not display advertiser-funded content. The site is currently free and supported by its founders. We use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which features are most useful.
